Wow, our first blog on our brand new website. It's crazy to think Wildbarc was just a little idea of ours and now here we are, a website saying hello to all you lovely lot! 

We've come a long way since we first had the idea to create a new brand for climbing rope dog leads for outdoor adventure seeking, mountain trekking, river dwelling, camping dog lovers. 

We wanted to create a product that was perfect for any four legged adventure. 

As any dog owner will appreciate we spend most of our time outdoors because that's where your dog is happiest, on a walk. So whether we love it and can't wait to get out to the highest peak or it's blowing a gale and you need to drag yourself off the sofa, you know that when you're out you'll see that big smile on your dogs face (yes of course they smile). So when you're in the outdoor elements you need the best gear. Strong durable dog leads for all types of adventures.

A bit of a background about Lola so you can understand why it became our mission to create a strong durable dog lead. Lola Fforest is a beautiful 4 year old blue merle border collie. She's a pedigree from a looooonnnggg line of world champion sheepherders. Her great grandfather won a few awards along with the rest of the bloodline who won numerous awards and recognition for their unbelievable sheep herding skills. Incredible right? well.... not brilliant if you don't live on a farm. She basically herds everything. Cars, trains, bikes, runners, drones, helicopters, sheep (of course) the list is endless, you name it she herds it. It's the sounds, the vibrations, the movement, she goes into sensory overdrive. With patience and lots of cheese, Lola is worlds better than the early years but we have to have a strong lead before she is safe to take off for a run, for her safety, and for the sheep too. 

Who are we? Well we aren't as beautiful as Lola Fforest that's for sure. Camping and the outdoors is our passion. Climbing the mountains and exploring the rolling hills of Wales. As keen campers and outdoor dwellers, we've found the need for equipment not only for us but for our dog too.
