We're thrilled to unveil our inaugural photo zine and we're itching for our awesome community and beyond to unleash their creativity on these pages!

Explore our love for Fungi at Wildbarc with our first photo challenge dedicated to the captivating beauty of mushrooms. This limited print magazine celebrates the wonders of nature and offers an opportunity for you to share your adventurous discoveries.

We hope the first of our photo challenges and our first magazine will be a roaring success which will then allow us to release more magazines, changing the theme each issue and also donating the profits to many more deserving charitable organisations across the UK.

Our Chosen Charity

"The Ramblers is a charity dedicated to removing barriers so everyone can enjoy walking in green spaces and to preserving and improving hundreds of thousands of miles of well-loved paths, tracks and trails across England, Scotland, and Wales."

All profits from the sale of our FFWNG Magazine will be donated directly to the Ramblers. Please check out Ramblers website to read more about the fantastic projects and work they carry out to protect our spaces for everyone to enjoy the simple pleasures of walking.

Prizes

The successful winning entry will be rewarded with a £50 Voucher for our online store, will also be featured on the front cover of our magazine and also receive a copy. Additionally, all chosen photos featured in the zine will receive a copy of the magazine and a £10 Voucher for our online store.

How to Enter

Post your entries on Instagram with the hashtag #wildbarczine. Keep a high resolution photo on standby in case we choose your photo to be featured in the magazine. We may ask for some additional information such as the location and date the photo was taken.

Need to Knows

1. Last date for submissions is Tuesday 31st October 2023.
2. All photos submitted must be portrait and NOT landscape.
3. Submit as many photos as you like.
4. All photo submissions MUST be your own photographs.
5. Winners will be chosen by us and notified by the 30th November 2023.
6. If your Instagram profile is private we will unfortunately not be able to see your photo submission.
7. Photos MUST be posted on your instagram grid to enter and you should use the hashtag #wildbarczine so we can find them.
8. When posting your photos on Instagram we may use these when promoting the photo challenge across our social media platforms. We will always tag your account when sharing any photos.
9. Winners will be contacted by Wildbarc only from this instagram account so DO NOT give any information to anyone else who may contact you.

Magazine Release Date

Once all submissions have been selected, all entrants will be contacted. Shortly thereafter, the magazine will be printed. Our goal is to have physical copies available 2-3 weeks after November 30th, 2023.
